Find an image that you don't like the person standing next to you or you're jumping over a hurdle and you want it to look like you're jumping into air.
Then you use the clone tool, make sure its a good size, 70 or 100 pixels, then move the circle to a blank spot in the image that you want to replace your 'friend' or hurdle with. Press the Alt key when you find a clear spot. Then move your mouse over to your 'friend' or hurdle, click with the mouse.
Your 'friend' now has a spot covering them. Continue covering your 'friend' up with clicks and remember to sample different backgrounds by moving the circle to new blank areas and using the Alt key to get new backgrounds.
